GentleSteps™
Once your Pet Stop® pet containment system is installed, proper training is very important. Friendly Pet Boundaries is here to train your pets to their new boundaries. Rather than attempt to contain your dog with painful zaps, we use a unique gentle approach that has produced outstanding results. Our training method is so effective that owners need to spend only 5-10 minutes, three times a day, during the five-day training phase, to teach pets their new boundaries. Dogs love the training because it is painless, fun, upbeat, and comes with lots of tasty treats!
What Will It Feel Like For My Dog?
GentleSteps™ utilizes ultra-low levels of training collar stimulation during the critical initial training phase that leaves your dog happy and secure in the safety of your yard. The barely perceptible levels of collar stimulation are felt as just a tickle, similar to a static discharge from touching a doorknob. This unique soft-touch training method allows Pet Stop® clients to focus on more positive experiences such as freedom in the yard to run and play.

Certified Dog Training in Maryland
Friendly Pet Dog Training is currently offering Group and Private Lessons, as well as a two week in-kennel training.
Group lessons provide an affordable way to learn the basics of obedience, in an environment that is shared with other dogs.

Private Obedience Lessons
Private lessons offer the most flexibility in scheduling and family involvement. Our private lessons do not limit your dogs exposure to other dogs, because our trained dogs help out in the process. The advantage of this curriculum is the results of your training are faster, scheduling is at your convenience, and we can concentrate on training issues more centered on your needs.
In-Kennel Training
Our In-kennel two week program is catered to customers wanting to have the maximum results in the shortest time. The advantage to our program is the hands on training, living in a real enviroment with our family, and among many other dogs and cats. We can focus on issues unique to your dog, and work on hyper, or aggressive or submissive tendencies in your dog. We have great results.
